About the company
Norwich Tutors was founded by Will and Isabel, experienced teachers based in Norwich, and provides tuition for primary, SATs, GCSEs, A-levels, IB, university admissions, English as a Second Language and music. Every tutor is fully qualified, vetted and holds an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
Co-founder Isabel holds a BA in Geography & International Development and a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of East Anglia. Co-founder Will holds a BA in History & Political Science from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics, and was formerly Head of Economics at Gresham's School.

Philip tutored our son in English in preparation for GCSE. His school reports suggested he could do better but he was struggling to refine his skills/ techniques/ approach. Philip was excellent and my son felt he got lots from the sessions. Our focus was on confidence building rather than grades but, in just a few weeks, he improved two grades in course work. Highly recommend.

I was a microeconomics student of Mr O’Connell for 2 A-Level years. He was an amazing teacher and instilled a love for economics in me, and our whole class. I would highly recommend Mr O’Connell’s teaching. He has a broad knowledge of the subject and created an awesome learning environment which substantially contributed to the success of our class in Economics.
Will O'Connell is a very engaging and relatable teacher. He provides a very deep explanation of all the topics, and is able to relate the theoretical and technical side to real-world examples which helps to embed the theory in your mind. He pays a lot of attention to exam technique which helped me be more efficient in my exams and helped me achieve an A in my final exam. Beyond just economics, he also provided a lot of help with my personal statement, greatly helping me to secure all 5 offers.
Will O’Connell taught me IB economics for two years and his incredible dedication and passion for the subject were fundamental in helping me achieve my grade 7. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
