Impala Maths Tuition

Brad has been the most excellent Maths tutor to my twins. He has always been professional, flexible, knowledgeable but most importantly very patient. My children’s grades have most definitely improved. They now feel more confident as they head towards their GCSEs. I would strongly recommend Impala Maths if you are looking for a great tutor who is always kind and accommodating around your personal schedules. Thanks Brad.

Brad has been worth his weight in gold! My son began working with Brad towards the end of year 10 as part of a weekly group session, which was a great introduction to tutoring (my son wasn’t keen to begin with!) He then started weekly one-to-one sessions in year 11, as well as group sessions during the school holidays. My son now looks forward to his maths sessions, his knowledge of the subject has grown immeasurably, and he is now going into his exams with confidence. have to say Brad has been absolutely fantastic with my son’s tuition. He is excellent at explaining things and breaking the sum down so that the student understands the process and how to get maximum marks within their GCSEs. The fact he is computer savvy means he can share his screen and he sends a pad that means the students workings out are shared. This means Brad can see the students working out and this massively helps with understanding where problems may lie. I would 100% recommend Impala Maths, it’s well worth the money and you won’t be disappointed. Also get in quick as Brad gets booked up very quickly, this is my only negative that we couldn’t get more sessions!

Brad has helped out massively with maths tutoring for my step son. He has a great approach to teaching him and creates a fun, open learning environment. I know how important it is to enjoy lessons and get on with your tutor as its motivates you to learn and achieve your goals and Brad does this. Each week we are ready 20 minutes early doing activities Brad set before hand. The improvement has been amazing too. From having a expected 2 on GCSE maths now hitting the 4 required is brilliant. My son got a good grade 4 in his maths GCSE with just a few weeks tuition, after just missing out in both his mock and the real thing. He found the tuition really helpful, going through past papers and learning new techniques. He gained a lot of confidence. I found Brad to be flexible and willing to give me prompt feedback. He provided plentiful resources.

We cannot recommend Brad highly enough! We explained our daughter’s needs and Brad came up with a revision plan because we had no idea where to start. Brad is very patient and understanding and has a lovely way of teaching, which worked wonders for our daughter and it was lovely to see her confidence grow throughout their work together. In fact, maths went from being her least favourite subject to the one she felt most confident in and it was amazing (and a huge relief for us) to see her go into her GCSE’s so positively. And, she came out with 2 grades higher than her mock results - we’re over the moon. Thank you for everything Brad!

Brad has been tutoring my daughter for a couple of months now and we would both definitely recommend him! My daughter clicked with him straight away and loves his tutoring style and content delivery; he balances his friendly manner with high expectations and challenging content. He is clearly very knowledgeable in his subject and his teaching experience allows him to deploy a range of strategies to engage my daughter and hold her focus, making the learning seem effortless. He reframes concepts in a way she can understand and supports her to work through the maths problems herself to encourage resilience and strengthen her problem solving skills.
