Wessex Tutors provided an excellent facility for my grandson, Graham, to re-take his Pearson Edexcel Maths A-level. His tutor, Alec, set out a work program and kept Graham on track to complete the entire syllabus, revising topics that he was comfortable with and giving in-depth instruction in those areas which Graham had previously struggled with. Graham gained a lot of confidence and from his feedback after each paper he looks to be set to achieve a high grade.

I’ve been given such an amazing tutor who makes mathematics a lot easier for me and I now feel much more confident. I would highly recommend Wessex tutors to anybody looking to retake an A level. Brilliant.

I whole heartedly recommend Wessex Tutors to anyone wanting to retake one or more A level. My son retook his Maths A Level with them during his gap year and moved from a C to an A grade. More importantly he regained his confidence and enjoyment in studying. His tutor was excellent and her whole approach, treating him like an adult and organising lesson together was exactly what he needed after not particularly thriving in his final year at school. He was able to do all his lessons online which was what he wanted and the potential for a flexible approach allowed him to work and travel for a few months which was very important to him in his gap year. The fact Wessex Tutors matches you to one of their very experienced, high quality tutors and provide an exam centre to sit the exam was exactly what I was looking for & had been struggling to find. I am extremely grateful to them for their help and support this past year.

Wessex Tutors did a fantastic job for our son. Although relatively low profile compared to some of its peers, do not underestimate them. They provided excellent one to one support in terms of not only tuition and exam preparation but confidence building. The exam centre is well run and an ideal place for retakes. Our son got his grades and is now at Durham University.

Wessex Tutors, alongside excellent maths and further maths tutors Sara Davis and Chris Barber, have inspired and supported my daughter to re-discover her love of learning and re-gain her confidence in her ability. I highly recommend Wessex Tutors & Exam Center, and the Geography tutor Mrs. Gardiner and Maths Tutor Mr. Barber. The head of College Mrs. White and later Chris, are highly professional and very helpful in providing recommendations and suggestions in overall A level exams and preparations. The tutors ( Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. Barber) they matched with my son are of high quality, very patient and good at the subject. Mrs. Gardiner is such a nice, thoughtful and friendly tutor, which made the tuition a very enjoyable experience for my son.
