Liz is very polite and kind. My son is showing significant improvement and interest in mathematics since he is getting lessons from Liz. I am very happy with his recent results. Liz has been tutoring my 2 boys for nearly 1 year now. They’re quite different in maths ability & learning styles and I feel Liz adapts her approach to get the best from each of them. My eldest son is coming to the end of 10. Having been absent from school for much of year 9, he lacked confidence when he started lessons with Liz, but he likes maths and is keen to achieve a GCSE high grade. Liz has built a really positive relationship with him, been supportive when he’s struggled with his mood and motivation & gradually he’s regained his confidence in maths. My youngest is approaching the end of year 8. He needed support as he doesn’t have so much interest in maths and was struggling to keep up with the pace at school. Liz finds the right balance between spending time supporting him with schoolwork and having fun (maths related games etc) during their tutor sessions, which is key to keeping him engaged. With both boys, it’s taken a while for the results to show in their schoolwork, but they’ve both achieved great results in their end-of-year tests.

Liz has provided outstanding tutoring for my son. She combines real warmth and a positive engaging style with a sound knowledge of maths rooted in teaching experience and her work with data management. Liz went the extra mile in seeking to understand our needs and preparing her session accordingly. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Liz has been absolutely wonderful in supporting both of my sons: one preparing for his GCSEs and the other in his final year of A-levels. Since we started working with her in September, I have seen a significant improvement in both their confidence and ability in Maths. Liz has a warm, approachable style and is an excellent listener. She quickly identifies areas where improvement is needed and tailors her teaching accordingly, making complex topics much easier to understand. My younger son, who is 15, previously lacked confidence in Maths and often doubted his abilities. Since working with Liz, his confidence has grown enormously. Not only is he achieving better results, but he is now enthusiastically sharing his knowledge and helping his friends with their Maths. Liz has been a great tutor for my grandaughter, really patient and explains things in a really clear way making it easier to 'grasp' for those that struggle a bit. She also provided support outside of lessons including homework and videos and messages of support at no extra cost. She has a lovely bright classroom and is always enthusiastic and cheerful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will use her again should my younger grandchildren need a little extra help in the future 😊

The transition from a teacher who left out a lot of stuff in the curriculum at GCSE (unhelpful) to A level was hard, but Liz has made sure my daughters gaps in knowledge are filled. She targets the sessions to what my daughter feels she needs more questions on. This has been a big help in boosting her confidence and improving her grades. Liz is friendly and seems to put her students at ease. My daughter seems to enjoy the sessions. It's certainly not something she dreads every week and I always arrive to smiles all round!
