Dave was patient, always made sessions relaxed without any pressure and really attentive to the way I learnt rather than the way a teacher thinks you ‘should’ be doing things. He’s the reason I got a 7 in my GCSE and I am certain this wouldn’t have happened without him. Thanks Dave, your support and teaching was the best.

Dave came highly recommended as a tutor for our daughter, who was struggling with self confidence and maths anxiety (partly due to missed basics during Covid school years). We started fortnightly sessions during Year 10 and, at the start of Year 11, built these up to once a week - our daughter went into her GCSEs with tonnes more confidence and self belief, which is something you can’t put a price on. Dave is super patient, kind and considerate - and manages somehow to simplify even the most complex of theories and information and empowers the learner to trust in their own abilities. Would highly recommend Dave.

Dave tutored my daughter for her Maths GCSE. My daughter is neurodivergent and found it really hard to concentrate in the classroom at school and the teaching environment at school didn't suit her. Dave was recommended to me by a friend and so I asked him to give her Maths tuition once a week. Honestly, he has made such a difference to my daughter's understanding of the subject and the way that he delivers it is so clear. We were initially unsure how it would work with the lessons being online, but he sits calmly next to a white board and writes and explains how the maths works as well as sourcing past exam papers and going through these. My daughter needs time to process information and Dave is patient and kind and teaches at the student's pace. If my daughter didn't understand something, Dave would explain it in another way, or he would adapt his teaching to the technique that my daughter was using, which had been taught at school. I cannot praise Dave's teaching enough. If you are in any doubt about asking him to tutor your child - just do it! But be quick because he gets very full :-) (OK, my daughter has just read this and told me to clarify that his schedule gets very full, not him himself :-))

Brilliant support for our son as he prepared for his GCSEs. Very professional, always on time and helped focus on the areas where our son required additional support. Highly recommend.
