What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Mathematics and science tuition across key stages, from KS2 through GCSE to A-level, is what this Nottingham-based tutor provides, and the reviews return again and again to the same strengths. Khalid, named in nearly every account, is described as patient, reliable and professional, with several parents noting how quickly their children's confidence grew. A recurring theme is the setting of regular homework alongside school curriculum work, which reviewers say keeps pupils on track and builds core skills rather than cramming.

Exam preparation comes up frequently, whether for SATS, GCSE or A-level, with one student reporting the entire A-level course covered in under a year and others describing clear explanations of difficult concepts. Parents of Year 7 and Year 8 pupils mention steady improvement in understanding and test scores, while older students credit improved grades to focused paper practice and tips. The effort invested in each student is praised, as is the polite and punctual manner in which sessions are conducted. Science tuition is also requested alongside mathematics, and the calm, structured approach to explaining topics is a point that comes up often.

My son is very happy with his lessons. The teacher can explain even the most difficult concepts in clear and simple way. Lessons are always well-structured and tailored to my son's needs. I have also noticed improvement in grades so this speaks for itself.

Khalid has been a fantastic maths tutor for our daughter throughout her GCSE revision. He has been patient, supportive, and great at explaining topics in a way she could understand. His help has really improved both her confidence and her maths skills, and she feels much better prepared for her exams as a result. We are very grateful for all his support and would happily recommend Khalid to anyone looking for a reliable and effective maths tutor. Thank you, Khalid! 😊
