My son worked with him last year, and my daughter this year, and the support, encouragement, and knowledge he has provided have been invaluable. He has a wonderful ability to explain concepts clearly, build confidence, and adapt his teaching style to suit each individual student. Both of my children felt comfortable asking questions and always came away from sessions with a much better understanding of the topics they were struggling with. What stands out most is how patient, reliable, and genuinely invested he is in his students’ success. He doesn’t just teach the subject matter; he helps students believe in themselves and approach their school work and exams with confidence. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has done for our family and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding tutor. Thank you!
Alistair (GCSE English tutor) did a great job at making my son feel at ease straight away. ... not an easy job with any 15 year old boy! Whilst only having had tutoring for a few months so far, I feel it has boosted my sons confidence and skills. Alistair has given him tailored sessions and clear, specific feedback, which we hope will help him to do his best in a subject he finds challenging. Thank you!
Rob and Alistair are great, very patient and thorough with the children. They built confidence in my child so she now recognises how able she actually is. Very pleased with all the sessions and how versatile they were in centre and at home. Thank you so much!
Our nephew came of leaps and bounds with his English after starting tutoring with Alastair. Thanks so much for helping him at a tricky time and for being a kind and helpful tutor!
My daughter was lacking in confidence in maths and had not achieved higher than a 3 in mocks. Her classes with Vicki at Kip McGrath resulted in a high grade 4 (almost a 5!!!) and she went into the exams with more confidence than before. She really enjoyed the classes and for the first time didn’t have massive maths-phobia. My only regret is not getting her started there years before. Thanks Vicky and Alistair
Just a few one on one sessions for English GCSE for my son meant he finally passed on the 4th attempt
A huge thank you to Alistair and Vicky. You lit a little spark in Abi and it carried through to her school and other subjects. Thank you for all you have done.
