A Level Maths Tutor | John Armstrong

John made a huge difference to my son's confidence and performance in Further Maths, particularly in Mechanics and Applied Maths. He explains difficult concepts clearly and helped my son approach challenging questions with much greater confidence. With John's excellent teaching and support, my son went on to achieve A* grades in both Maths and Further Maths at A-level. We are extremely grateful for his guidance and encouragement and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent Maths or Further Maths tutor.

I couldn’t recommend John Armstrong enough! He explained difficult topics clearly, were always patient and tailored lessons to exactly what I needed. John really helped improve both my understanding and confidence, especially with exam technique. I’m extremely grateful for all his support and holiday classes!

The best maths learning experience I have ever had. John took me from a Low D in my mocks to confidently getting A*s in both Maths and Further maths in my final A level exams. John's teaching methods are amazing and strategy of understanding theory of a topic instead of classroom teachers tricks and shortcuts means you won't get stuck when you see unfamiliar questions in exams. Not to mention his round the clock support with answering questions could not have been more helpuful. I could not recommend his tutoring more if you want to smash your exams.

John was an amazing maths tutor, helping me achieve an A* in my A level. He really helped me understand areas I was weaker in from basics building a good foundational understanding which made it much easier to build upon. Would highly recommend.

I can’t recommend John high enough! Every lesson was very well planned to bring out the best in my daughter’s skills and abilities that only improved during the sessions. She has gained so much confidence when walking into that final exam room. Something that was also very helpful was the Easter-sessions he put on. Got her an entire grade higher! Thank you so so much John!
