Very very positive in-person experience, lovely friendly staff HOWEVER I did recieve an email saying my NEA wasn't submitted and wouldn't be marked (even though it was submitted a month beforehand), which was so so stressfull. It turned out to be someone's error but the woman on the phone refused to apologise or accept that there was a huge mistake on T&E's part. This was resolved, but not a good experience that.
We are using Tutors and Exams Birmingham to get autistic daughter who has anxiety through her A Level as her online provider let us down. I'm going to echo what a lot of people have said. Tutors and Exams have been fantastic to deal with from the start. They guided us through applying for the exam. We went to an open day where we were shown all the facilities and they talked in detail with my daughter to ease her anxiety. All her access arrangements have been done via the access arrangements team and everyone has been super professional and helpful. If you are looking to book exams outside of the usual route Tutors and Exams Birmingham is an excellent choice. There is limited street parking for two hours if you need to drop off, wardens do patrol so make sure you pay by the app or at machine. There are shops locally and cafes around the area.
Mother of candidate: I would highly recommend the Birmingham exam centre for the location and service. We are retuning customers, my 14 year old having sat exams in May/June 2025 and now sitting some more this October/November 2025. I can trust them and feel at ease knowing they take care in providing all they need to. We are kept informed with emails they send and they are always at hand if I have any questions. I have recently booked more exams and hope to stick to this exam centre for the rest of my daughter’s exams. Thank you. This helps get us organised, at ease and ready for the exam. The portal is easy to use and you can access all your candidate information and easily access new notifications making sure you are up to date with any notices or exam timetables. I would recommend this exam centre to any young person taking their exams.
