Swansea Tuition Centre

Swansea Tuition Centre first opened in September 2005 and provides tuition up to A level in Maths, English, French and Spanish, and up to GCSE in Science. Lessons take place either face to face at the centre in Morriston, Swansea, or online via Zoom, with both one-to-one and small group sessions offered.

The centre is run by Huw and Alison Pritchard, both qualified and experienced teachers. Huw has been a member of one of the most successful Maths departments in Wales for nearly 20 years and serves as a senior examiner at GCSE and A level, while Alison is an Assistant Head teacher at a comprehensive school in Neath Port Talbot and is also an experienced examiner.

Swansea parents frequently highlight how quickly their children settle at this Morriston tuition centre, with several describing a marked rise in confidence alongside improved maths scores. Named staff Warwick and Sue are repeatedly praised for putting pupils at ease, so that lessons become something children look forward to rather than dread. Huw, who runs the centre, is credited with doing a fantastic job, and the fees are described as reasonable for the support provided. Reviewers mention the benefits for secondary-age pupils who had been struggling, noting that scores soared once regular weekly lessons began.

Parents also speak about the wider educational help their children receive, with the tuition extending beyond a single subject. The recurring themes across the feedback are the welcoming atmosphere, the expertise of the teaching staff and the value for money, with no critical comments appearing in any of the accounts. Families who left reviews describe a place that turned around a difficult subject and made a lasting difference to their child's schooling. Regular weekly attendance and individual attention recur as the reasons parents credit the centre with restoring confidence and improving results in maths.
