Maths Tuition Leicester

Maths Tuition Leicester is a private tutoring service led by Washi, who has a First class degree in Maths and Computer Science. Washi has been helping students succeed in maths exams since 2013 and became a full-time tutor in 2021. To date, Washi has taught more than 40,965 hours. Subjects taught include maths, computer science, physics, and chemistry. Washi offers one-to-one maths tuition online. Students have been tutored from top schools across Leicester, London, Leeds, and Coventry.

In the first session, Washi drafts a basic paper to assess the student's level. Detailed learning and revision plans are provided specific to each student. Washi was on the Dean Merit list for 3 consecutive years and received a full scholarship for BSc and another scholarship for masters. Washi worked as a software developer at Microsoft Indian Ocean and partners. Washi ran help sessions at the University Maths Department with class sizes from 5 to 35.

Saffron Lane is the base for this maths tutoring service, where a tutor named across reviews as Washimah, or Washi, teaches students working towards GCSE exams. Patience and clear explanation are mentioned repeatedly, with several reviewers describing concepts being broken down step by step and confirmed as understood before moving on to the next topic.

Supplementary exercises and take-home tasks matched to each student's current level come up in more than one account, alongside a description of strong familiarity with the GCSE maths format and marking. One review describes a niece being tutored in both mathematics and computing, suggesting the tutor's teaching extends slightly beyond maths alone in some cases. Reviewers consistently describe noticeable improvement over a period of months rather than an immediate transformation, with more than one family crediting the sessions with a measurable shift in exam performance.

The tone across reviews is warm and personal, with several describing the tutor as caring as well as knowledgeable, and family relationships extending over repeat bookings for siblings and relatives. The service operates with unusually broad availability, listed as open around the clock every day of the week, which several reviewers reference when describing how easy it was to arrange sessions at short notice.
