First Class Learning Mossley Hill

First Class Learning has been established for over 15 years. The Mossley Hill centre is run by Munir Ahmed and Neda Ahmed. Munir Ahmed holds a B.Sc. and PGCE and has been a qualified teacher for many years, including head of academic department and A-Level Principal Examiner. The centre specialises in primary school aged children from Reception (age 4) through to Year 6. The centre offers maths, English and science tuition.

The centre is Ofsted Registered and accepts Childcare Vouchers/Tax-Free Childcare. Programmes are focused on the National Curriculum. The centre uses printed worksheets rather than screen-based learning. New students start with a unique Skills Assessment, currently offered free of charge.

Held at Mossley Hill Church Hall on Rose Lane, this centre runs a self-paced programme in Maths and English for children who progress through levels at their own speed. Several reviews describe siblings being enrolled one after another once an older child settled in, with families reporting noticeable gains in understanding within a matter of weeks. Tutor Munir is named for giving regular feedback after each session, and reviewers consistently mention children moving up within their school classes and gaining confidence alongside their improved marks.

One parent whose daughter had fallen behind in Maths noted her teacher flagging the improvement after only a month of attendance. Weekly feedback on completed work is mentioned more than once, along with staff described as attentive and easy to talk to. Parents also mention a welcoming atmosphere that puts nervous children at ease during their first few sessions, which several say made the initial transition into tuition easier than expected. The centre is listed as open every day of the week, though specific session times are arranged individually rather than published. Pricing, class sizes and tutor qualifications beyond first names are not given in the reviews available.
