We joined explore with our 5 year old who is in Y1 as we knew she was struggling with phonics. We were told by her school she would be very unlikely to pass her phonics screening test. We joined in the Jan and our daughter has made terrific progress and importantly she loves going. The staff are LOVELY. It is very well organised and they run regular parent catch ups where they can explain exactly which areas they are making progress in and even which particular sounds they are struggling with. A very professional environment. They tailor the learning to the individual child and you can give them info from school so that their work compliments the work being done in school. Explore Learning has such a lovely and supportive environment. The tutors are not only really helpful, but they also know how to make sessions enjoyable and keep you motivated. Since joining, I’ve definitely become more confident in maths and even moved up a grade, mainly because of the consistent practice and the amount of support you get. The programme is really well structured, with a great mix of learning new content, practising it, and revisiting key skills to make sure you fully understand them. I would definitely recommend Explore Learning, especially for anyone preparing for their GCSEs!
