Families preparing children for GCSE examinations in Leicester repeatedly highlight the impact of sessions led by Richard, a tutor whose patient and encouraging manner is mentioned by several customers. Parents describe how their sons and daughters gained confidence in mathematics, science and reading, with progress in SATs noted after regular attendance. A recurring theme is the provision of helpful materials during lessons, which reviewers credit with supporting independent study at home. Accounts focus on the difference made to pupils working towards examinations, with learners themselves finding the sessions useful for focusing their revision.

Richard is named in multiple reviews as kind and patient, with an ability to draw the finest from those he teaches that customers describe as remarkable. The confidence gained by learners, rather than simply improved grades, comes up often, as does the steady progress made over months and years of attendance. The tuition is presented as a supportive environment where young people achieve more than they previously thought possible, and the sessions cover mathematics, science and reading alongside GCSE and SATs preparation.
