Clever tutor were providing us with tutors since covid time up to now. I cannot fault the experience. Brian’s always very helpful. I highly recommend Jan Docherty, he is one the most amazing tutor We have ever met. Thank you very much Brian and Jan, we couldn’t make it without you.

Absolutely horrendous service I don’t recommend. I called the Glasgow office and spoke to Brian he took my details and told me he’d organise a tutor for me after waiting for 5 days I called back and Brian could hardly get the phone down quick enough still told me lies that he’d get someone to call me.When this didn’t happen he just didn’t pick the phone up again to me.What a terrible way to run a buisness!Its just ignorance this Brian should change his profession as he’s just a liar and wasting peoples time. I don’t advise you go anywhere near this company there just a bunch of time wasters.

I have used the Clever Tutor company from the end of Lockdown from the beginning of this year 2021 for 4 months. Brian was very straightforward and quick to answer my questions about private tutoring for my 5.5 years old son and took my phone calls every time I needed something. He always got back to me very quickly if for some reason he couldn’t get my phone. I wanted a primary school tutor to come out 2x a week for 60minutes each time for the lessons to help my son with his speech delay and to improve his concentration as he is on the spectrum. I loved the punctuality and the commitments of the tutors. They were never late or missing the tutoring sessions. They were very professional and were using teaching materials and online programs that are in primary schools to keep up the competency of learning. My son was tested by these tutors to see his ability and weaknesses in his use of language and also I was provided with written reports on my son’s progress which I copied and handed to his nursery. Brian had to change my son’s tutor a couple of times because of my my son’s ability of how he processes the language . As the time went by I could see improvement in my son that he could sit the whole 60 minutes of teaching and his attention was there most of the times. His cognitive ability of processing the questions has also improved and he was replying faster to questions with precision. I am really happy with my decision to this moment that I have hired a professional to help with my son’s language skills and I feel that it was the best decision I have made for my son’s development especially in this pandemic when everything was slow going if I think of SLT from the NHS or other organisations that we were involved in. The money I did not spend but rather invested and this investment will be never lost or wasted because investing in education the money is never wasted!
