We contacted Ondrej several weeks ago to help with my daughters Nat 5 Maths exam as she was struggling and only got a marginal pass at prelim. I have to say he was excellent and seemed to have a great way of teaching her. He worked through each subjects and got her to do lots of example questions. By talking through her working thought process he was able to see where she struggled and then help her with understanding it better. She had her exam the other day and she went in and came out very confident. She is hoping for a B or possibly even an A which is unbelievable based on where she was a few weeks ago. She is even now talking about doing it in Higher which was never an option as she really disliked it as a subject. I would thoroughly recommend Ondrej to anyone as he has a great manner and you can see he is very invested in doing his best for his student. He definitely goes the extra mile and we are so pleased we found him.
Ondrej has been outstanding and such a help for my daughter in preparing her for exams. Her prelims were difficult and did not go well, but we employed Ondrej straight afterwards and the positive change I have seen in my daughter is incredible. Ondrej took the time to understand her and where she was in her understanding. From that, he developed a structured plan to bring her on in the time we had to the main exams. I have seen a huge improvement in my daughter's confidence, and she now has a much better understanding of what is important to study and how to learn it. I have really appreciated how flexible Ondrej has been in arranging sessions. I have already asked him to continue tutoring my daughter in the future as she progresses to her highers.
Ondrej is very good at explaining the questions and guiding you with an explanation that makes sense. If you don’t get it the first, he’ll explain it in a different manner which shows how he is knowledgable of teaching a topic or a subject in different ways that suit the person he is tutoring. I would highly recommend Ondrej as he is a great tutor who listens to you and helps you out in the best way he can.
I initially contacted Ondrej to help build my confidence in maths in preparation for postgraduate study. From the first meeting, i have found Ondrej approachable, reliable, honest and engaging. I'm uploading this review for a friend who doesn't have a google account: Ondrej has been nothing short of amazing and extremely supportive. I studied towards an online part-time MBA and needed some extra tutoring in Economics and Finance, both of which subjects Ondrej is very knowledgeable in, and he's helped me consolidate the material and prepare for exams. I started weekly tutorials with Ondrej face to face before the pandemic which I really enjoyed and got a lot out of. Ondrej had a real sense of understanding of what style of teaching suited me best, he was very flexible in tailoring sessions to my needs, and he also kept me focused on key parts of the material, offering suggestions and tips in advance of exam revision. Following this positive experience, I reached to Ondrej this year again, as I started taking a statistics course in Psychology. This time around we organised sessions online, and these felt the same as the face to face sessions. Again, Ondrej has been really knowledgeable on the subject, very confident in his teaching and patient in explaining real life applications of various statistical methods. Ondrej has also made himself available at crazy hours to fit my hectic schedule.
