Families in Brighton looking for tuition for children who need support with functional skills, literacy, phonics, reading or mathematics often turn to this service, where Kathryn has built a reputation for patient, adaptable teaching. Parents describe how she tailored sessions to each learner, making the experience varied, stimulating and enjoyable, and they note the marked improvement in confidence and attainment that followed, sometimes after a difficult period at school. Reviewers frequently point to the warmth and professionalism she brings, with one account describing how a daughter was nurtured and guided in both reading and maths.

An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the presence of her two dogs, who join sessions and give learners a comfortable way to engage, whether by reading aloud to them, walking or simply enjoying their company. Families of neurodivergent children report that Kathryn's approach made sense to them and worked for them, and one parent credits her groundwork with helping a son thrive in key subjects at his specialist school. Alongside academic progress, pupils have learnt to cook and play golf, illustrating the breadth of support she provides.
