April has been tutoring my daughter for the past nine months and has been excellent in all ways. She is very professional but also down to earth, and she always gives useful feedback following a lesson. I would, and have thoroughly recommended her to others.
Our experience with April's tutoring has been very positive right from the start. She has an efficient system of reminders then followed by a useful summary after each session for our records. Our son is always happy to attend, and comments that he is feeling more confident with his understanding of many aspects of maths.The lessons are varied in subject matter, and I can hear that he is absorbed into each one with April's positive energy. He has quickly moved up to the highest set of Maths at school since attending the sessions, which is testament to what a competent and engaging teacher April is.We would highly recommend her.
April tutors our daughter and is fantastic. In my daughter's words, she is 'fun and nice' as well as being a great teacher. My daughter's confidence has improved and she is always happy to join her tutor sessions.
April has been amazing. We started using her after my daughter's GCSE mocks. This resulted in a boost from a grade 5 to a grade 7 in the final exam. We have continued to use April over the last 2 years as my daughter has pursued the International Baccalaureate course at college. April is kind and patient and gives clear explanations. She has really boosted by daughter's confidence. April sends weekly updates on progress after each lesson. The online format has worked really well. My daughter has just finished her maths exams and says it will be strange not to have April as her tutor any more! April, we will miss you and thank you for everything.
April has been amazing with tutoring our daughter ahead of her GCSEs. She is very knowledgeable on all topics, and has a great way of explaining things that make then easier to understand. April is also very positive, and has instilled more confidence with Maths in our daughter
April has worked wonders with our son who didn’t want to have a tutor! He never complains about his weekly meetings as they have built a great rapport and his understanding is coming on leaps and bounds. April is engaging and has created lesson plans that ensure our son is going to be successful at GCSE. I have recommended April as a Tutor to many of my friends with school age children as she is so fantastic.
