What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Parents seeking extra academic support for children at primary, secondary and university level feature throughout the feedback for this Glasgow tutoring service. A recurring theme is the patience and clarity of the teaching, with Jack, Andrew and Yolanda named repeatedly for their ability to break down difficult mathematical and scientific concepts until pupils grasp them. Reviewers describe how struggling students have grown in confidence and motivation, moving from confusion to enjoyment of subjects such as maths, Higher Physics and engineering modules.

Several accounts highlight the individualised approach, with lessons adapted to each learner's needs rather than following a fixed format. Reliability and organisation are mentioned often, alongside flexible scheduling and clear communication when arranging sessions. Families also value the personal warmth of the tutors, who are described as approachable, down to earth and genuinely interested in the young people they teach.

In one case, a tutor went to considerable effort to source suitable support for a university-level engineering module, coordinating with a colleague so the student was guided through demanding topics. The service is repeatedly described as trustworthy and effective, with progress evident in a short space of time. Pupils preparing for National 5 and Higher examinations form a notable part of the work discussed in the accounts.

Versatile, conscientious and motivated to achieve the best results possible for their clients. I found jack to be very personable in my dealings with him. Tutoring my little brother at university level electrical engineering, he emailed around to find the appropriate tutor with the knowledge and aptitude to teach 2nd year maths engineering. They worked as a team to help him with difficult topics and guide him through a hard university module. This resulted in a great exam result, nailing a module which he was previously failing. I would highly recommend.

Our son needed some extra help with his maths - enforcing what he was learning at school as well as shoring up some areas he was struggling with. Having worked with both Jack and Andrew, his ability and confidence has really improved. They both work so well with him - being patient, committed and adapting the learning to the individual. Cannot thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them - 100% reliable and trustworthy.

Jack helped my son study for his Nat 5s. Jack was reliable and very organised. My son could relate to him and he found ways of breaking down the questions and giving my son solutions. I would highly recommend Jack to anyone who’s child needs a little more clarity on numeracy. After lockdown my son needed a little more support with a certain area, Jack was able to quickly identify what area and how to move past the problem. My son is now sitting a higher in maths.
