Alist Tutoring

Alist Tutoring is a private tutoring provider based in Belfast. It offers personalised one-to-one tutoring for primary, SEAG, GCSE, and A-Level students. The company operates from two locations, on Lisburn Road and Castlereagh Road. It hosts special revision events throughout the year, including intensive Easter revision. It runs SEAG half term revision camps and SEAG summer revision camps. It also runs GCSE and A-Level revision days. GCSE and A-Level weekly tutoring is available.

Alist Tutoring, on the Castlereagh Road in Belfast, runs preparation days ahead of GCSE and A-level exams alongside regular subject tuition, with reviewers naming tutors including Drew for GCSE maths and Anna for younger pupils. A pattern across the reviews is the impact on pupil confidence going into exams, with several families describing sessions as well organised and tailored to the specific topics and techniques a child needed to revisit before sitting their papers.

Tutors are described as knowledgeable, patient and genuinely engaged with the subjects they teach, and one family cites a grade improvement to a B in GCSE maths as a direct result of sessions with Drew. Group class formats are used for some sessions, and a small number of reviewers describe less positive experiences within this format: one mentions a disruptive fellow pupil making a session difficult to concentrate in, and another questions whether every tutor was matched to the right level of subject expertise for what they were teaching.

These accounts sit alongside a larger number describing a relaxed, well-structured learning environment and knowledgeable tutors. The business runs both event-based exam preparation days and regular subject sessions across GCSE and A-level, though specific weekly opening hours are not listed on its profile.
