Sandeman Tutoring - Tutoring for All Subjects

Sandeman Tutoring is a Local Council accredited provider based in Stamford, teaching Maths, English and Science from KS2 through to A-Level, including Further Maths and A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It also covers Computer Science, History, Geography, French and German.

Students are matched with hand-picked qualified teachers based on their personality and learning pace, and tutors create free resources to support students beyond paid lessons.

Confidence building for GCSE and A level students is the theme that runs through the feedback for this Peterborough tutoring service. Parents describe how children who had struggled with a subject, or disliked it entirely, became more assured and engaged after a relatively short period of lessons. Named tutors recur throughout the accounts, with Josh, John, Andy, Will, Emma and Rhys each singled out for patience, enthusiasm and clear methods. The content of sessions is repeatedly reported to match what families asked for, and communication before and after lessons is described as honest and responsive.

One-to-one work, whether in person or over video, is credited with covering a great deal of ground quickly, and several reviewers note how well tutors explain techniques for exam papers and consolidate school work. Feedback to parents about progress comes up often as a valued part of the arrangement. Tutees preparing for GCSEs in maths, English, history and computer science, and one studying the subject at A level, are among those mentioned, along with the structured notes and welcoming atmosphere provided. Parents consistently report that the support made a measurable difference to pupils' confidence and exam readiness.
