My daughter started with Mrs O'Brien a couple of months ago in preparation for her maths resit. I have seen her grow in confidence and her maths teacher at college has certainly seen a change in her. Mrs O'Brien continually sends through work to do and genuinely cares about her students. Update today- my daughter has passed her maths resit. Would highly recommend Mrs O'Brien. Great tutor.

Mrs O'Brien is a brilliant tutor; she helps my Y9 child with science and maths. His confidence has grown in both subjects since going to Mrs O'Brien for tutoring and finds he understands everything a lot better. The one-to-one explanations and feedback is exactly what he needed. He thoroughly enjoys his sessions and finds he gets through so much revision. We will be carrying on until he finishes his GCSEs.

We have been very pleased with the lessons provided to our son who was lacking confidence in maths. Since he started we have seen an improvement in his test scores and his understanding of the subject. Mrs O’Brien is patient and clearly explains the subject and our son is now finding he enjoys maths and his lessons with Mrs O’Brien. Would highly recommend this tutor.

Mrs O’Brien is absolutely fantastic. Both my children started maths lessons not that long ago but the progress made within the weeks of joining is a testament. Mrs O’Brien is very thorough and explains very clearly helping the children understand, very patient and supportive. They both enjoy going to their lessons. Thank you Mrs O’Brien we’re so happy with the exceptional service you provide.

I started my journey with Mrs O’Brien when I was in Year 5 and maths was my weakest subject but since I have been taking lessons with Mrs O’Brien it’s become my stronger subject. I have got good marks on my tests which has really made me proud and confident. Her way of teaching is amazing.😊

Mrs O Brien has been tutoring our daughter Annabelle who is in year 10, since September 2025. The support Annabelle has received has been invaluable and has made a noticeable difference to her confidence and performance. Mrs O Brien has kindly modified lessons prior to school tests to help give Annabelle extra support from which she benefited hugely.

We’ve been so impressed with Mrs O’Brian and the progress our son has made since starting lessons 2 months ago. At 11 years old, he’s gained so much confidence in his maths, and he actually looks forward to his sessions each week — which says a lot! Mrs O’Brian is patient, encouraging, and really understands how to explain things in a way that makes sense to children. The lessons are always well-structured, engaging, and tailored to our son’s needs, especially as he prepares for Year 6 SATs. We’ve seen a huge improvement not just in his academic skills, but also in his motivation and attitude toward learning.
