JC Tutoring

JC Tutoring is a private tutoring service based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Its tutors are practising primary school teachers. The service specialises in English, Maths, and 11+ preparation. The team has over 20 years of combined experience in primary education across the UK and China.

Its members hold Qualified Teacher Status in both the U.K. and China. Tutors hold enhanced DBS checks. JC Tutoring offers tailored 1:1 tuition. Lessons are aligned with the national curriculum and use a teaching for mastery approach. The service regularly assesses pupil progress.

JC Tutoring operates from Leazes Park Road in the city centre, offering private tuition with sessions available across a wide daily window, from early morning through to nine in the evening, seven days a week. Only one review is currently on file, describing weekly sessions that a child enjoyed attending, with a noticeable rise in confidence within a short period and a price the reviewer considered reasonable for the level of support given.

Given this limited history, prospective clients are better placed relying on the address, opening hours and the tutor's own website for details of subjects and levels covered than on a broad pattern of feedback. The long daily availability suggests scheduling flexibility for families juggling school, after-school activities and weekend commitments, which may account for part of the appeal noted in the one account currently available.
