Ignite Learning - Online Maths, Science & Chess Tuition

Tim tutored our son Jacob for A Level maths, starting in September when he was consistently getting U grades and around a year behind where he needed to be. Through Tim's patient, structured support, Jacob steadily improved — and came away with a C, well above what he'd expected. We're so grateful for Tim's help in turning things around — would highly recommend.

Tim has really helped my daughter with her math confidence. She was completely blocked when it came to maths. Tim has created a wonderful rapport with her and convinced her that math is not so terrible after all, I cannot stress enough what an achievement this is! Her teacher at school has seen improvements in her knowledge but mostly her attitude, which is so important.

We would highly recommend Tim and his team of fantastic teachers. We discovered that our 15 year old son was well behind in his Maths and Science six months before his GCSE exams. He was also going through a difficult period in school at the time. Tim, Sonja and Mustapha were very positive and encouraging and patient with him. Our son also found the lessons with them to be interesting and engaging and he was able to focus the whole time. He became the top of his set within 3 months of starting lessons with them which boosted his confidence massively before his GCSE exams. We couldn't thank you enough Tim, Sonja and Mustapha.

Tim has made a huge difference in my daughter's A-Levels maths. She was really struggling to understand the jump from GCSE to A-Levels maths. Her teachers at school went through the lessons very quickly. Tim explained all the topics my daughter found difficult. As a result she went from a B to A☆. This enhanced her confidence. Tim has a very personable and easy teaching approach. I recommend him highly

Tim worked with both my daughter and son over the years and would happily recommend without hesitation

I worked with Tim to help with last minute GCSE science and maths revision, I missed a lot of school due to illness and was extremely behind in all of my subjects, this was especially difficult with science and maths since I found them challenging even when I was attending school. Thanks to him I passed all my exams taking higher tier, and actually started to enjoy the subjects! It would not have been possible to achieve these results without his help, guidance and encouragement. He managed to make the subjects fun with quizzes etc which helped me retain information a lot quicker than just normal textbook revision. I highly recommend him to any student wishing to improve their grades and I can’t thank him enough for all his support :)

We booked 3 sessions with Tim for our son who had lost confidence in Maths and was demotivated. Tim quickly turned this around, boosted his knowledge and understanding which resulted in a fantastic improvement in his maths exam. He went from 43% to achieving 86% in a month.
