Thrive Together Tutoring

Sam has been tutoring our daughter for several weeks now in both group and one to one sessions. We have noticed a big difference in how our daughter approaches her learning, she is much more confident and uses strategies to support her learning. Sam is truly excellent and we cannot thank her enough!

my son has ADHD, which makes it difficult for him to sit still , concentrate and put the confidence into his schooling. he has been struggling with maths at a lower-than-average level in school and i found sam and immediately she understood me and what my child needed For the past three weeks, he has been having group tutoring sessions with Sam, and he is already eager to get on zoom and learn . He really enjoys his time with her which is a great change from the norm. Sam is amazing. She truly understood the assignment with my son taking the time to get to know him and his habits , hobbies and then incorporating those into her lessons. This approach has made a big difference—she encourages him to enjoy maths rather than feel overwhelmed by it. You can really see that Sam has a passion for teaching and supporting children, and that shines through in the way she works with my son. I already see an improvement in his attitude to learning, and I feel confident that as the weeks go on, his confidence will continue to grow with Sam’s support. Sam is an amazing tutor to my daughter. She was struggling at school and she lacked in confidence in her maths lessons. Since starting tutoring she has not only gained her confidence back but she has also started enjoying her lessons and that's all thanks to Sam. My daughter is so happy after every tutor session and comes running to show me all the work she has completed and that makes me a very proud parent. My daughter Year 6 has been struggling with Maths for some time.
