The Elite Prep

I would really recommend the services of Elite Prep to help improve a students knowledge and confidence in their subject. Dan in charge is very attentive and receptive and helps to find a good match between the tutor and student. Tutor Orla helped our daughter with her higher level IB biology studies and we could not have asked for more. Our daughter’s confidence and grades in biology both really improved with Orla’s expert help. We would not use any other agency now and we are already organising tuition through them for our other two daughters. Would highly recommend!

Very professional and easy to reach. They replied quickly to all my questions and provided thorough, detailed feedback on my personal statement. Their guidance was clear and constructive, and it really helped strengthen my application.

In prep for a resit I enlisted help from the elite prep group. Not only did my tutor, Dan Leonte, prep me for this resit but he ensured that the background knowledge and understanding was in place. We covered parts of analysis and the entire metric spaces course. Not only did I pass comfortably but I now feel far more comfortable in this area of maths.

I am really grateful for the support I received from the elite prep team. I just graduated from my maths bachelor in science and worked with elite prep all the way through. It really helped me build skills in maths and find an efficient way of learning. I worked with 4 different tutors throughout the years and all of them were really passionate, friendly and brilliant. They always knew what i needed to focus on and guided me through all the steps. This year i worked with Marc who helped me with differential equations and advanced complex analysis and he really wanted me to understand and was patient, he knew how to make things make sens for me. I also worked with Mel, who taught me group theory which for me was a real struggle as it was really abstract, but he helped me understand it really clearly. I would highly recommend their help.

I highly recommend The Elite Prep — we used them for both of our children and had a fantastic experience. My son needed some support in Physics and Maths during his IB years as he was preparing for the MAT and aiming for Imperial. The Elite Prep matched him with the perfect tutors, and their help made a real difference — he was able to secure the conditional grades he needed to get in. We were so impressed that we turned to them again for our daughter’s IGCSEs, where she needed some extra help in Physics and Chemistry. Christel, Alex, and Orla were absolutely brilliant — incredibly knowledgeable in their subjects and genuinely gifted at teaching. Both of our children loved their lessons and felt fully supported throughout. Thanks to these tutors, they both achieved top grades. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I worked with Dan to prepare for my maths undergrad resit, and I’m very glad I did. His lessons were well structured but relaxed, which made it easy to engage with the material. He was always approachable and easy to talk to, but still kept sessions focused and productive. He quickly identified where I was struggling and made sure we spent time addressing those areas properly. He’d set me work in between sessions and go through it thoroughly, making sure I understood the methods and improved over time. I appreciated how efficient he was with explanations, he was clear, to the point, and tailored sessions to how I learn best. Overall, I found the sessions really helpful, and I’d recommend him 100%.

Our son progressed significantly with the help of The Elite Prep for his IB. He worked with Orla Hilton for Bio and Andrew Connell for Maths, and they were both fantastic - not just subject experts, but coaching experts. Highly recommend!
