Sky-High Tuition

Sky-High Tuition is a privately-owned education support company based in Manchester. It has been operating since 2023 and is Ofsted registered. The company provides tuition in 11+, Maths, English and Science for children aged 6 to 16, following the UK's current National Curriculum.

It operates a small group tutoring system and offers an initial assessment free of charge. It helps students prepare for Common Entrance Examination papers at 11+ and 13+, SAT Subject Tests, GCSE and UKMT. Childcare services are also offered.

A tuition centre based on Withington Road in Manchester, Sky-High Tuition focuses heavily on 11+ exam preparation alongside ongoing Maths and English support, including a summer intensive course for children sitting grammar school entrance tests. Parents repeatedly describe tutors as patient and knowledgeable, with lessons tailored to each child's needs and mock exams used to build familiarity with the format before test day.

A pattern across the reviews in the feedback is confidence: several families note noticeable improvement in their child's self-assurance alongside academic progress, and communication is mentioned as straightforward, with regular updates keeping parents informed of how sessions are going. Flexibility on scheduling is highlighted by more than one reviewer, useful given the centre's evening opening hours through the working week and extended Saturday and Sunday sessions.

One parent singles out a tutor named Mahmoud for his guidance during 11+ preparation, while others describe the wider staff as approachable and supportive without naming individuals. Families who have used the centre across more than one child, or over consecutive years, describe steady results, with several children going on to pass their 11+ exams after attending. The overall picture from the reviews is of a structured, exam-focused centre that keeps parents closely informed throughout the preparation process.
