Kumon Maths & English

We turned to Kumon when we were concerned with our son's school report at the end of December 2024 as he was due to sit his GCSE exam in May 2025. The team at Northampton South applied the Kumon approach and helped our son achieve grades in Maths, English Language Literature which enabled him to get his choice of subjects for A-levels. We could not thank Kumon enough for all their support and guidance.

My daughter has done Kumon lessons for several years now. It has improved her Maths, English and spellings a great deal. I am very pleased with her academics over the years and I attribute a lot of it to Kumon. Miss Shweta gives regular feedback and progress plan, she is always available to discuss my daughter’s progress and any concerns. Shweta genuinely cares about the success of her students and this makes it easy to approach her on anything. I really can’t recommend Kumon enough.

I'm so grateful for Kumon’s English and Maths programs—both of my daughters have shown amazing improvement under with Instructor Shwetha. She is patient, encouraging, and creates a structured, supportive learning environment that keeps them motivated and focused. My older daughter now enjoys reading and expresses herself more confidently, while my younger one has become much stronger in maths and approaches her work with enthusiasm. We're truly happy with their progress and highly recommend Kumon with Shwetha to other parents.

This Kumon centre is so professional and caring for all its students. Shweta takes extra care in assessing the correct level, the children should start on and makes sure they consistently build up from that level on. The help and support both my kids have received has shown them, how hard work pays off. They are both excelling in Maths and English. Highly recommend if you want your children to start loving the journey of learning.

The Kumon center, situated near Grangepark Northampton, is exceptionally professional and dedicated to its students. The staff is warm, welcoming and eager to assist. The assistance and support my son received demonstrated the value of hard work. The lessons cover the fundamentals to facilitate understanding in the classroom. This provided my son with the confidence he needed to excel in school. I would highly recommend this if your child requires that extra assistance.

Kumon is a great way to teach kids the importance of doing something little and often helps them to master a subject. Berta is a great teacher, knows and monitors kids individually. Her commitment towards teaching not only for the subject but also discipline the child to be well prepared for next phase of life. I wish Berta and the students who volunteer support her all the very best for future..!!

All my children are on the kumon programme. my eldest started kumon 3 years ago. Kumon has greatly improved her ability to concentrate on tasks. It has boosted her confidence in maths and English. My middle child, I was once worried about her being summer born and the youngest in her class. She started kumon at the age of 3. This child has surpassed me expectations. She is well ahead in her class in Reading, writing and maths. My youngest, 3 year old that started the kumon programme about 3 months ago is now conversant with his phonics and has started reading. He is also learning the basic skills of handwriting. Though we are work in progress. On the 8th October 2023 the kids enjoyed a fantastic award ceremony where they were awarded medals for their hardwork. Thanks Berta for putting together such an amazing celebration. We appreciate the work you are doing. I would recommend kumon to all parents. However bear in mind that this programme is not easy. Your child will probably kick against it and protest. You need to have patience, time (be available) and be ready to commit to the journey. It's about you (parent) supporting your child to become independent in their learning.
