Inspiring Maths

Sam is a really wonderful tutor. She took the time to get to know my daughter and is bringing out the best in her. I’ve never seen my daughter so happy after a lesson. My daughter has regained her confidence, she is joyful and doing so well thanks to Sam.

Sam sets a very high standard of tutoring, always going beyond what was expected from her. My son has tutored with her in maths since year 5 and has done extremely well in his GCSE. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for tuition.

Sam has been providing maths tutoring for my son over several months now. I was apprehensive when looking for a suitable tutor, due to complex health issues which can affect how long he is able to manage with chronic pain, he also struggles documenting his work with poor fine motor skills. I disclosed all of this to Sam before his initial session and discussed what I wanted out of the sessions and she was warm and reassuring. Sam has adapted her teaching process to suit my son. He has progressed with his ability and independence in his maths work. Sam always works alongside me and has been great in not only developing my sons maths skills - but also his confidence around maths!

I highly recommend Sam! She is tutoring my daughters that are in primary school and my son who is in secondary school. She is an excellent maths tutor, my kids consider her one of “the best tutor they ever had”. She is methodological, patient, inclusive, interactive and able to explain complex concepts down to her student’s level. She is very talented, polite and understanding. We are lucky to have found her! My kids now love maths! I have no affiliation with her, this is just my honest opinion based on our experience.

Sam’s tutoring has been very beneficial for both my children and has helped to change my daughter’s maths mindset to a positive one. My daughter, aged 13, has never been a fan of Maths but she told me that Sam’s tutoring has helped her to feel more confident. Sam explains things clearly and is able to maintain children’s engagement throughout the session. Sam always starts each lesson with a recap of what the child has covered in the previous session. Sam is also very open to hearing parents comments and suggestions and is happy to support the child in a particular topic, if needed. We are so happy with Sam’s work that when a space became available, we enrolled our son, aged 11, straight away.

Hi, To anyone who is looking for a math’s tutor I could highly recommend Sam.. She has been tutoring my two children now for a while and she has brought them on leaps and bounds… my children are home schooled and really enjoy sams classes. Sam has a very clam approach with the children and explains everything until she knows the children have understood the question.. Sam is very patient and works really well with the children always trying to push that little bit to get their best out of them… we highly recommend Sam she’s been a life saver for us! Thanks Sam

Sam is an excellent teacher ,my son grew his confidence in maths so much since he started. She listens to my concerns and feedback to me. I would highly recommend Sam as it needs a special person to teach maths to the children . My son loves maths and he loves the way Sam is teaching.
