In-Tuition Academy

In-Tuition Academy, based on Mornington Villas in Bradford, provides maths, English and science support for primary and secondary pupils ahead of their GCSE exams. A point raised again and again in reviews is the pace at which children pick up material compared with their experience at school, with one parent describing more progress made in a single hour here than over several weeks of ordinary lessons. Several reviewers mention Mr Majid by name, describing him as patient and dedicated, and more than one family describes children who had previously been reluctant to attend tuition settling in quickly here.

Communication with parents about a child's next steps is highlighted repeatedly, alongside verbal feedback given at the end of sessions rather than only written reports. Tutors are described as knowledgeable about the current curriculum for both primary and secondary years, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that several parents say makes children want to come back each week. The academy is open across most of the week, running weekday afternoons into the early evening, with a long Saturday session and a shorter slot on Sunday afternoons, giving families several options for fitting lessons around school.
