Richard worked with my son to prepare him for the 11+ entry exams for the Perse and the Leys and we have had a brilliant experience. Richard was very organised and knowledgeable about the requirements of the exams for the different schools and made sure we were aware of all of the steps in the application process and reminded us of approaching deadlines etc. Richard built a great rapport with my son, who looked forward to his sessions as he made them interesting and engaging, so preparing didn’t feel burdensome or like extra homework. His knowledge of the curriculum was outstanding and he was very good at explaining concepts or areas that my son didn’t understand and making it all seem accessible. He provided clear feedback on areas my son could improve and made sure he felt motivated and positive and confident going into the assessment day. Everything was well managed and Richard was clear at communicating to organise sessions and also planning the time we had for tutoring to make sure that my son had time to cover and work on all of the areas necessary for the exams.
