I had the pleasure of Simon teaching my daughter for 2 years in infant school. My daughter came along so much, she was actually excited to go to school and learn which was lovely to see. Simon is one of a kind and truly inspirational teacher and without a doubt my daughters favourite even after all these years. I think his skills he taught her at a young age have lead her to become so passionate about her studies today!

Simon has left a positive mark on both my children, despite teaching them a few years ago he is firmly remembered as their favourite teacher…. Why? Outstanding rapport with young people, inspirational teaching and a commitment to support children to be brave & kind & the best they can be.

Brooksmart visited the school in a consultancy capacity as part of anyibullying week to work with the children and the staff. The workshops delivered were current, relevant and highly engaging. Simon was very knowledgeable and a real hit with children and staff- we will certainly be using Brooksmart again soon. Highly recommend!

Simon taught my daughter when she was in year 2 and now as she moves into year 7 she still fondly recalls him as her favourite teacher. I worked for a time at the same school and so have been fortunate to see Simon teaching first hand. Simon is a natural teacher, his motivational energy, versatility and genuine passion for teaching really sets him apart. My daughter had struggled with her confidence considerably, not just academically but personally too however during her time in Simon's class I noticed a real change in her attitude and application which she has carried throughout the rest of her time at school. Simon has some brilliant tools in his teacher belt, his innovative style brings fun to each subject which encourages a love of learning in the children. He is calm and friendly yet highly respectful and professional. My daughter and I would highly recommend him.

When my daughter needed some additional help to catch up after lockdown, I had no hesitation in approaching Simon, the founder of Brooksmart, as we knew how great he was at inspiring and engaging students from when he taught my son in primary school several years ago. Her sessions last year made all the difference in getting her to where she needed to be. We're having more sessions this year to help maintain her maths and I can see every week how much she is growing in ability and confidence. The sessions are engaging and fun and she loves them. It's a great and flexible service, for example alternative dates offered when we're away, quick and comprehensive written feedback after each session. I highly recommend Simon and Brooksmart if you're looking for a tutor.

Simon is a wonderful tutor, super friendly, fun and engaging and has some excellent strategies for learning. My ten year old has come on leaps and bounds since working with him and really looks forward to his sessions. Simon works with the pupil to understand their hobbies and interests and weaves those themes into his learning to make it much more interesting. I would highly recommend Simon.
