Brainhub® Tuition - Forest Gate | GCSE & A Level | 1x1 & Classes

Brainhub Tuition operates a Forest Gate branch offering GCSE, A-Level and 11+ tutoring. Its tutors are PGCE-qualified teachers with exam experience, and fewer than 5% of applicants pass its vetting process. Each student is matched with a tutor based on subject and personality. Small group masterclasses are capped so every student gets attention. 1x1 tuition provides bespoke sessions built around the student's exam board and target grade. The branch provides termly reports, mock analysis and parent check-ins. Lessons are offered in person at the branch or online, with evenings and weekends available. It teaches AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC specifications.

A-Level subjects include Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics and English Literature, with UCAS and Oxbridge admissions support. GCSE Science support covers Triple Science and Combined Science. GCSE Maths is offered at Foundation and Higher tier across AQA, Edexcel and OCR. 11+ preparation covers verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, Maths and English for CEM, GL and independent-school papers. GCSE English Language and Literature includes Shakespeare, poetry anthologies and 19th-century set texts. Students come from schools around Forest Gate including Forest Gate Community School, St Angela's Ursuline School, Langdon Academy, Forest School, School 21 and Azhar Academy.

The branch covers Forest Gate, Stratford, Manor Park, East Ham, Plaistow and Maryland. The first lesson includes assessment, goal setting, tutor matching and a written progress plan. Mock analysis clinics run in November, February and Easter. Weekly lessons are recommended as standard, with twice weekly for grade-critical students in the run-up to exams. The Forest Gate branch is on the Elizabeth Line and served by bus routes 25, 58, 86, 308 and 325. A free trial and a free assessment are offered. Nationwide, 90% of lessons are delivered online or to student homes directly. Main services are GCSE, A-Level and 11+ tutoring in Maths, English and Science, delivered as 1x1 tuition and small group classes.

Reviewers of this Forest Gate centre, open from early morning into the evening every day of the week, most often describe how quickly a suitable tutor was found once a request was made, sometimes at very short notice. GCSE maths, English and computer science feature repeatedly in the feedback, alongside mock exams and progress reports sent to parents.

A point raised again and again is the coordinator Mo going beyond a simple booking service, following up personally on how pupils performed after exams and staying in contact once tuition had finished. Individual tutors are named frequently and consistently praised for patience and subject knowledge, among them Hussein for computer science, and Siraj, Navid, Moosa, Ali and Robbie across maths and science, with several parents crediting specific tutors for identifying exactly which topics their child needed to focus on.

Grades and confidence are described as improving together rather than separately, with more than one family noting a child's enthusiasm for a subject growing alongside their results. One review from a student notes that the centre welcomed feedback on the lessons and adjusted its approach accordingly. Overall the picture is of a well-organised tutor-matching service built around GCSE and A-level support, with close attention paid to pairing each pupil with a suitable teacher.
