Swindon Tuition Centre

Founded in 2013 by Luke Wareham, a former Deputy Head at a Social, Emotional and Mental Health school, Swindon Tuition Centre provides Maths, English and Science tuition at Primary, GCSE and A Level. The centre also supports pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Beyond private lessons, it delivers alternative provision packages to mainstream schools, pupil referral units and home-educated children and young people. Swindon Tuition Centre operates three centres in Swindon and Bristol as well as a sister centre in Cirencester, and has offered online sessions since the Covid pandemic.

Tuition at Swindon Tuition Centre centres on academic improvement, and reviewers consistently highlight the progress their children have made since attending. Pupils are described as enjoying their sessions, with one parent noting their son loves going and has shown considerable improvement in school work. Maths GCSE support is a recurring theme, and the tutor Caya is named for her work helping a daughter with the subject while keeping the parent informed about progress. Communication from the centre is a point that comes up often, particularly regarding timetable and tutor changes, which are relayed promptly when necessary.

The team, including Luke Wareham, is praised for its contribution to the tuition profession, and a member of staff writes of enjoying the working environment, the students and the progression opportunities available. The centre is described as offering a positive experience for children who attend, with families reporting both academic gains and genuine enthusiasm for the sessions. Parents regularly link the tuition to improved performance at school, and the combination of skilled tutors, clear updates and a supportive atmosphere is what appears to keep families returning.
