What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Portsmouth parents describe Spinnaker Tuition Centre as a setting where children make steady academic progress, with school teachers reportedly noticing marked improvements after a few months of attendance. Success in 11+ preparation is a theme that comes up often, with sons and daughters passing and securing places at their preferred schools. The centre's work across science subjects, including Triple Science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, as well as Mathematics and English, is frequently highlighted, alongside the confidence pupils gained before GCSE and SATs exams.

Teaching is characterised as professional and held to high standards, with homework set at a sensible level. Communication is singled out for praise, particularly the straightforward guidance and the regular feedback given both verbally and in writing. Members of staff are portrayed as approachable and quick to offer advice when needed, and the service is remembered for fitting around demanding family schedules. Parents also value the information provided about local schools, and lessons are described by more than one family as reasonably priced. Several children have attended for two years or longer and continue to do so.

Extremely pleased with the help and support my daughter received from the Academy. Would highly recommend their services and would definitely use again. My daughter was worried about her Science GCSE exams and they helped her with revision and homework . It was so useful and she gained so much confidence and what's more she got her A's in science which she was aiming for!!
