Maths Tutor Help

MathsTutorHelp is a private tutoring service founded by Mr Sheraz, a qualified maths teacher who is DBS checked and has over 15 years' experience. The service supports KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, Functional Skills and A-Level Maths, including Edexcel, AQA and OCR courses. In-person GCSE group classes are held at Levenshulme High School, Manchester, and are capped at 7 students. Tuition is offered one-to-one or in small groups, online or in person.

Maths Tutor Help, on Belvoir Avenue in Levenshulme, is centred around a tutor named Sheraz, who is named in nearly every available review covering GCSE Maths, Computer Science and Functional Skills Maths for an adult learner. Reviewers describe lessons as carefully structured and explanations as clear, with more than one parent noting that a child who previously struggled with the subject gradually built understanding and confidence over an extended period of tutoring. Online lessons are mentioned by one adult student who took Functional Skills Maths remotely and found the sessions easy to follow.

Pricing is raised more than once as reasonable relative to the standard of teaching, which reviewers say made it easier to continue lessons over time. A younger reviewer separately describes a lively, enjoyable session that made learning Maths feel different from usual classroom lessons. The listed opening hours are limited to Sunday, between nine in the morning and five in the afternoon, though the span of dates across the reviews indicates that tutoring has continued consistently across at least several years for some families.
