It was a wonderful experience, especially since we applied to boarding school during the last month of the school year; without the help, professionalism, and promptness of the team at Keystone Tutors, we wouldn’t have succeeded. We highly recommend that you use their services.

My daughter was struggling with IB HL Chemistry and her grade had fallen to a level 4, even though she needed a 6 for her university offer. In March 2025, we found Keystone Tutors online and decided to seek extra support. They quickly matched us with Claire Twizell, who was reassuring from the start. Claire focused on the areas where our daughter needed help, taught her how to approach exam‑style questions, and was always available by email outside lesson times. She never moved on from a topic until our daughter fully understood it. Keystone Tutors also kept us updated with regular progress reports as her grade improved from level 4 to level 6. By the time of her exam, our daughter felt confident, and on results day she achieved a level 7. Moving from a 4 to a 7 in just over a year was remarkable. We’re very pleased with the outcome and extremely grateful to Keystone Tutors and Claire Twizell for their support.

First class standard of tutors and support We had to relocate from South Africa for 6 weeks and were able to provide our son with seamless support during his first year of GCSE studies. An absolutely amazing experience and opportunity We will definitely be continuing Poppy was brilliant- she understood his needs and teaching style needed, and was so patient with the work needed to curate an individual timetable before we arrived. Elizabeth for year 10 Maths and English , Will for Physics, Elena for History and Nicoletta for French are all highly skilled and professional.

We have been using Keystone this past year to home school my son for his GCSEs, after he became very unhappy at school. They have been simply amazing, fully supporting us on this journey and making what could have been a stressful experience into a very positive one. My son is now in a much better place, having really enjoyed his lessons with his tutors this past year, and got a great deal out of them. He is now well set up to embark on his A levels at a conventional college.

Following our search for a mathematics tutor to support my daughter Tiara in preparing for her IGCSE Mathematics examination, we identified Keystone Tutors, through which we had the pleasure of meeting Mr James Scott. He is a mathematics tutor who demonstrated exceptional empathy, patience, and great attention to ensuring that my daughter acquired and deepened the knowledge required for her IGCSE Mathematics examination. For this reason, I recommend him very warmly and we are truly grateful for all the support he provided. Wishing him every continued success! Calin

I was referred Paige W from Keystone Tutors, and given the importance of the timeframe with my son’s 16+ English exam approaching, I lost a lot of valuable time. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Much of the lesson was spent with Paige talking at my son rather than actually teaching or working through relevant exam content. My son even had to prompt her several times with “shall we start the lesson?”, which was quite concerning. On top of that, she didn’t seem familiar with his exam board, and he had to repeatedly explain that certain topics weren’t part of his course. I raised this immediately with the company as we were under real pressure, but instead of listening, the client manager became defensive before I’d even finished explaining. Alice, who was also involved, wasn’t helpful either. Thnfortunately, this experience was particularly discouraging. As a result, I had to find another tutor last minute, which brought a significant amount of avoidable stress during a crucial period, even though the company was aware of the exam's proximity. All I was told was sorry you feel that way. Overall, it felt like after the classes were set up, payments became the priority rather than making sure that the tutoring was genuinely helpful. I waited until after my son had sat his exam before posting this, as I didn’t want to add to his stress at the time. But in all honesty, the experience was not what it appears to be on the surface, and I wouldn’t want another parent to go through the same situation.
