I've been involved in their learning from start (unlike school!) seeing their strengths and weaknesses in Maths and English. They are honest, welcoming and supportive. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for tutors. I went down that route and it was so exhausting finding the right person. Save yourself time and headache!
Super positive experience for both my s3/s4 and p4 kids. Nat 5 prep was very thorough and informed, really made a difference. You can see your kids improve in real time with the website/app trackers and my p4 kid really enjoys all the encouragement/stickers!
As new arrivals to the UK, we enrolled our daughter at Explore Learning about two years ago to brush up on her Maths and English. Over the last year, the focus shifted toward the entrance assessments for Edinburgh’s independent schools. The tutors have all been fantastic. Friendly and approachable, they gave her confidence to ask for help whenever she struggled, and she genuinely looked forward to her sessions. More importantly, they are incredibly capable; every tutor excelled at conveying the concepts and memory tricks she needed to progress. The absolute cherry on top? She passed and was offered a position at all five schools she tested for! We also met with management for regular updates, which provided us with honest appraisals of her progress and the areas where she needed a bit more support. Our heartfelt thanks go to Caroline, Richard, and the entire team at Craigleith Explore Learning. They guided us through every single step of the entrance process, provided mock exams, and delivered invaluable feedback and we could not have done it without them!
My daughter went here for less than two months but has made great progress as the tutors have been extremely supportive, making sure to take their time answering her questions and focusing on topics she found difficult. Nice team of people 😊
Amazing. My daughter has been attending explore learning since last summer and she loves it. I struggle with time for homework during the week and these sessions really help keep her on track. The team are so helpful, patient and understanding. I would highly recommend.

Explore learning, My son attends edinburgh craigleith branch and I cannot recommend enough From the very first encounter I cannot tell you how amazing this team of people are, the patience, the commitment and their level of enthusiasm for teaching/supporting the children is something I cannot put into words how much coming here has helped my son. Ill forever be thankful to you all and would recommend and shout from the rooftops if your child needs a tutor or a little extra support go here!
