Derby Tutor

Rob is an excellent Maths and Science tutor. He is patient and understanding and he teaches in a fun and interesting way so my daughter is fully engaged in his sessions. Rob's tutoring has made her feel much more confident in taking her Maths and Science G.C.S.E's and his support is very much appreciated.

Excellent tutor, my son benefited a lot in the run up to his GCSE's.

Rob has been an excellent Physics tutor for my Son. Since starting sessions with him, his confidence and understanding have improved massively, and it’s really shown in his grades too. Rob is patient, encouraging, and explains difficult topics clearly. Rather than just giving answers, he talks through problems in a way that really makes him think and properly understand the topic, which has made a huge difference. We’re genuinely very grateful for all the support and guidance Rob has given him.

I would highly recommend Rob, he really helped my son revise for his science GCSE’s. Rob was very reliable, professional and friendly and made my son feel comfortable. He engaged with him and always made sure my son would get the most out of his revision time.

Cannot speak any higher of or praise Rob any more !!! Thoroughly reccomended !! My daughter, although not specifically struggling in Maths wanted to improve her grades to make sure she achieved the required levels for college in her GCSE'S and Rob more than helped in that respect. It was noticeable from the start that her grades in tests improved dramatically and teachers at school noticed a distinct improvement in her understanding of topics she was struggling with and subsequent grade improvements.Rob is happy to tailor the sessions to whatever needs covering so ideal for specific topics that required attention from my daughters perspective. You know its Money well spent when the Daughter tells you....i finally understand that now....and comes home beaming the next day because it was covered in a lesson or a test and she was one step ahead !! Rob has a fantastic calming and fun teaching nature that made my daughter feel at ease and comfortable with from the very first session and she genuinely enjoyed the sessions (even the early start at the weekends sessions Rob managed to pull in !!)...we asked our daughter 3 questions after every session...."have you learnt anything ?" "Was it helpful ?" and "have you enjoyed it ?".....she answered yes to all 3 for every single session !!!.....so encouraging from a parents perspective to hear that and you honestly can't ask any more ! Daughters already intimated she would like Robs help when it comes to A level maths and we would have no hesitancy in asking for Robs help again in the future !!! Thanks Rob from all of us and keep up the great work helping others 👍🏻

We needed a maths tutor to help our son with his GCSEs I found Rob on Google, he spoke to us all initially over the phone and we found him to be very pleasant so arranged for him to come and visit, we were certainly not disappointed as on the first visit it felt like we had known him years, he got straight on with teaching, enjoyed every week his coffee with either a biscuit or cake lol, 😀 and really helped our son, we are still awaiting his GCSE results but feel very confident that the great teaching Rob gave him would of helped him pass. Thank you Rob and would highly recommend you.

My son worked with Rob for a year on his maths, and the difference has been incredible. He was falling behind, but with Rob’s consistent support and clear explanations, he caught up to where he should be for his age. Rob played a key role in helping him prepare for his SATs and, just as importantly, really boosted his confidence in the subject. He was always patient, helpful, and encouraging. I’d absolutely recommend Rob to any parent looking for a reliable and effective maths tutor.
