Bright Star Tuition

The Year 3–4 Maths Club delivered by Stevie has been fantastic for my boys. They really enjoy attending each week and always come home feeling positive and enthusiastic. The sessions are engaging, supportive, and make maths fun while building their confidence at the same time. It’s lovely to see them becoming more interested in maths and developing their skills in such a friendly and encouraging environment. We’re so grateful for all the hard work and care that Stevie provides - the boys especially like solving maths puzzles to unlock the treasure chests!

My daughter has come on massively since starting with Stevie at Bright Star Tuition. Not only has her maths improved so much, but she now genuinely enjoys the subject and feels far more confident in her abilities. Her school teachers have even commented on the positive difference they’ve noticed in both her attitude and confidence towards maths. She has just sat her SATs exams feeling confident and well prepared, which is all down to Stevie’s amazing support, patience and encouragement. Stevie was wonderful with our 11 year old son who was more than capable but lacked confidence. He struggled with emotions before exams and believing in himself. After tutoring with Bright Star Tuition he gained great skills and could apply them well. He is now in year 7 and couldn’t be doing better!

My son attended one of the 11+ group sessions and I would highly recommend them. He has the tendency to be a bit of a reluctant learner, however Stevie was incredibly supportive. He enjoyed the sessions and made good progress throughout, resulting in him passing the 11+ test. The sessions are well planned and weekly feedback is given that shows the objectives covered and the progress made. The workshops and mock tests are a great addition too. I will be using Bright Star Tuition when my daughter embarks on her 11+ journey!

I can’t recommend Stevie highly enough! My daughter looked forward to her sessions every week and made incredible progress, passing the grammar tests with confidence having arrived at Bright Star off track. Booking and paying for sessions was simple and communication first rate. I would (and have) thoroughly recommend!
