A Star Tutoring

We had a great experience with A Star Tutoring. Abdul has created a friendly, relaxed learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged. The sessions were well organised, with two or three tutors working with small groups, giving each student plenty of individual attention. There was also convenient parking for up to 30 minutes, making drop-offs and pick-ups easy. Amber’s tutor, Amanda, was patient and took the time to explain any questions she struggled with while working through lots of past exam papers. This really helped build Amber’s confidence and prepared her well for her maths exam. We’re now waiting for her results, but we’re very grateful to Abdul, Amanda, and the team for all their support. I would happily recommend A Star Tutoring to anyone looking for friendly and effective maths tuition. Update 27/Aug/2026 We’re very happy to say that Amber has now received her results and she passed her maths exam! 🎉 We genuinely feel that without the support and guidance from A Star Tutoring, the result may not have been so favourable. Amanda was fantastic at building Amber’s confidence, explaining the areas she struggled with and making sure she was well prepared for the exam. My daughter really enjoys attending her sessions. Lessons are aligned with what's being covered at school so really helpful to close gaps. My daughter's confidence has improved and she has shown improvement since attending.

Our daughter has been attending A Start Tutoring for a couple of months to brush up on her maths. We can already see signs of progress. Not only has she been able to make good steps towards filling in some lacunae in her learning, but she is also feeling a lot more confident and approaches maths with much more assurance. We are very pleased with the level of attention and care she has received from Abdul and the rest of the team. Communication has been great. This is a very positive learning environment, and we are happy to see our child flourishing.

My daughter has always struggled with maths and was so deflated after her mocks. We decided to enrol in A* and she is actually feels like she understands questions and more importantly getting them right. We left our journey quite late but hoping she gets the grades needed for college. Not only has my daughter noticed the difference but school have noticed too.

Daughter has done almost 3 months tutoring from Abdul and other math teachers,after progress meeting my daugther showed improvement oh her target grade.Abdul is approachable and Leticia from Admin is very helpful and lovely,she is an asset to the tutoring team.Hoping my daughter will get her target grade.More power to A* Tutoring.

My 10 year old son has been going to A star tutoring, just for a few month's for Mathstutoring. I have seen his confidence increase in just that short time. Everyone he meets there is welcoming, and it's a lovely calm place to learn. Would highly recommend.

My Daughter has been using the Maths tuition service for the last 5 weeks. This has helped her so much, she is much more confident and willing to ask questions. Fantastic service and very flexible.
